What is this service

This service provides old maps in order to observe land use transitions. Now, this service provides Kanto Plain in the early Meiji era, and FUkuyama-Shi (Hiroshima-Ken) in the latter Meiji era.

Many GIS can be WMS(1.1.1/1.3.0) client. You can use this service with many desktop GISs.

How to compare with a recent map

It is possible to compare land use transition if this service and a recent map uses together.
