This shows both of Tentative Map around Kyoto-Shi in 1880's and 1890's and current map.

Tentative Map layer is created by the research activities of MEXT Global COE Program "Digital Humanities Center for Japanese Arts and Cultures" (Ritsumeikan University) Historical GIS Group and "Research and examination of systems and fundamental technology to support development of a digital museum (Mixed Reality Digital Museum)" (Representative: The University of Tokyo). This layer uses 1:20000 Tentative Map and 1:20000 Basic Map published by Geographical Survey Institute (GSI), Japan with its approval under the article 30 of The Survey Act. (Approval Number JOU-SHI No.182 2012)
